The device for training swimmers and performing physiotherapeutic exercises comprises a tank configured to accommodate a swimmer and a cover connected to the tank. The device for training swimmers and performing physiotherapeutic exercises further comprises a restraining element. A first end of the restraining element is connected to the tank and the second end of the restraining element is configured to be connected to the swimmer. The unit for measuring parameters of a swimmer comprises a housing, within which a motive force sensor, a processing unit, and a transmitter are enclosed.
