AUTOMATIC OPENING/CLOSING DEVICE FOR FIXTURE
This automatic opening/closing device for a fixture is provided with: a rack (10) affixed to a fixture (3) that can be opened/closed; a pinion (16) that is meshed to the rack (10); a holding member (18) that holds the pinion (16) in a rotatable manner; a rack (11) that is affixed to a fixture (4) that can be opened/closed; a pinion (17) that is meshed to the rack (11); a holding member (19) that holds the pinion (17) in a rotatable manner; and a rotary drive mechanism that rotationally drives the pinions (16, 17). The holding member (18) can move between a meshing position at which the rack (10) and pinions (16) are meshed and a release position at which the meshing of the rack (10) and pinion (16) is released, and the holding member (19) can move between a meshing position at which the rack (11) and pinion (17) are meshed and a release position at which the meshing of the rack (11) and pinion (17) is released.
