Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft die Verwendung eines Materials, umfassend Graphit und Glas als verpresste Mischung, als Bauteil eines Reaktionsreaktors, insbesondere als Wärmetauscher oder zur Kühlung von anderen Bauteilen, insbesondere auch elektronischen Bauteilen. Die Erfindung betrifft auch ein Verfahren zur endkonturnahen Herstellung eines Formkörpers. Der Formkörper kann insbesondere ein Reaktionsreaktor, ein Bauteil für einen Reaktionsreaktor, ein Wärmetauschers oder Kühlkörper sein. Der Formkörper besteht aus dem Material, das Glas und Graphit als verpresste Mischung umfasst.
