SIMPLIFIED LEVER HANDING APPARATUS
The present disclosure defines a lever handing apparatus that permits simplified changing of the handing of a lever handle between a left hand and a right hand orientation. The lever handing apparatus includes an assembly with a rotatable spring cage housing and lever spindle that can be selectively rotated within an escutcheon housing to change the handing position of a iever arm. The handing orientation of the lever can be repositioned without removing a back plate or accessing interna! components positioned within the escutcheon housing assembly.
La présente invention définit un appareil de manipulation de levier qui permet de faire passer de manière simplifiée une poignée de levier entre une orientation gauche et une orientation droite. L'appareil de manipulation de levier comprend un ensemble comportant un logement du type cage à ressort rotatif et une tige de levier qui peut être sélectivement entraînée en rotation à l'intérieur d'un boîtier du type écusson pour modifier la position de manipulation d'un bras de levier. L'orientation de manipulation du levier peut être repositionnée sans devoir retirer une plaque arrière ni accéder à des éléments internes positionnés à l'intérieur de l'ensemble de boîtier du type écusson.
