Beschrieben wird ein selbstverriegelndes Schloss für eine Tür oder ein Fenster mit einem bewegbar gelagerten Flügel, mit einer in einem Schlosskasten 1k gelagerten Schlossmechanik, mit einem Riegel 5a und einer Falle 5b, die mit einem Steuerglied 5d und einem Blockierglied 5e zusammenwirken. Es ist vorgesehen, dass das Steuerglied 5d mit dem Blockierglied 5e derart zusammenwirkt, dass abhängig von der Stellung des Steuerglieds 5d das Blockierglied 5e mit der Falle 5b kuppelbar ist,dass die Falle 5b mit dem Blockierglied5e derart zusammenwirkt, dassdas Blockierglied 5e ausgehend von seiner mit der Falle 5b kuppelbaren Stellung durch Ausfahren der Falle von seiner den Riegel 5a blockierenden Stellung in seine den Riegel 5a nicht blockierende Stellung mitgenommen wird.

It is provided that the control member 5d interacts with the blocking member 5e in such a way that, depending on the position of the control member 5d, the blocking member 5e can be coupled to the latch 5b, and that the latch 5b interacts with the blocking member 5e in such a way that, starting from its position in which it can be coupled to the latch 5b, the blocking member 5e, by moving out the latch, is taken along from its position in which it blocks the bolt 5a into its position in which it does not block the bolt 5a.
