A method of reducing moisture content of soil is provided. The method includes placing a device having a flexible, water-permeable membrane defining an enclosure for receiving a water swellable material, and a water swellable material received within the enclosure in soil. The method may be used in soil strengthening, construction, and works underground such as underground excavation, mining, and tunneling.
La présente invention concerne un procédé de réduction de teneur en humidité du sol. Le procédé comprend le positionnement d'un dispositif qui comporte une membrane flexible perméable à l'eau qui définit une enceinte pour recevoir un matériau gonflable à l'eau, et un matériau gonflable à l'eau reçu à l'intérieur de l'enceinte dans le sol.
