COVE FLASHING BASE SUPPORT
The present invention relates to a polymeric cove base support for installation where flooring meets a wall, comprising extruded straight portions and molded exterior corner and end portions. The cove base support comprises an upper wall portion, a lower toe portion and an intermediate curved or concave cove. The wall portion is substantially perpendicular to the toe portion. The curved cove comprises an outer cove surface for facing the wall-floor interface and a spaced apart inner curved cove surface facing the room when installed. The spacing between the two curved coves for the straight portion creates an open area, where the open area includes a supporting or reinforcing bar juxtaposed between the curves, preferably positioned perpendicular between the two curve coves in the center region of the open area, and extending the length of the cove base. The corner and end portions have outside surfaces facing the wall and a floor, the outside surfaces defined in part by spaced ribs extending perpendicular to each of the toe and wall portions.
La présente invention concerne un support de plinthe à gorge polymère à installer où un revêtement de sol rencontre une paroi, comprenant des parties droites extrudées et des parties d'angle et d'extrémité extérieures moulées. Le support de plinthe à gorge comprend une partie paroi supérieure, une partie pointe inférieure et une gorge incurvée ou concave intermédiaire. La partie paroi est sensiblement perpendiculaire à la partie pointe. La gorge incurvée comprend une surface de gorge extérieure faisant face à l'interface paroi-plancher, et une surface de gorge incurvée intérieure espacée faisant face à la pièce lorsqu'elle est installée. L'espacement entre les deux gorges incurvées pour la partie droite crée une zone ouverte, la zone ouverte comprenant une barre de renforcement ou de support juxtaposée entre les courbes, de préférence positionnée de façon perpendiculaire entre les deux gorges incurvées dans la région centrale de la zone ouverte, et s'étendant sur la longueur de la plinthe à gorge. Les parties d'angles et d'extrémité ont des surfaces extérieures faisant face à la paroi et un plancher, les surfaces extérieures définies en partie par des nervures espacées s'étendant perpendiculairement à chacune des parties de pointe et de paroi.
