SEAFLOOR HAULAGE SYSTEM
A seafloor haulage system (10), for lifting seafloor materials from the seafloor to the surface, that has a line member (150), preferably synthetic rope, that extends at least partially between the seafloor and the surface and a container (400), preferably a plurality of containers, capable of carrying a load connected to the line member (150). The containers have a steerable element (410), such as a rudder, that enables the container to manoeuvre as it is propelled, typically towed by the line member, through the water.
L'invention concerne un système d'extraction (10) à partir des fonds marins, servant à remonter à la surface des matières présentes sur les fonds marins, lequel système comprend un élément ligne (150), de préférence un câble synthétique, qui s'étend au moins partiellement entre le fond marin et la surface, et un contenant (400), de préférence une pluralité de contenants, capable de porter une charge reliée à l'élément ligne (150). Les contenants possèdent un élément orientable (410), tel qu'un gouvernail, qui permet au contenant de manœuvrer à mesure qu'il est propulsé, habituellement tracté par l'élément de ligne, dans l'eau.
