The present invention provides a trencher bucket for forming a narrow trench in a material (such as soil), the narrow trench including a bottom and pair of opposed sides, the trencher bucket including: a bucket body, having a base and a pair of opposed sides and a front opening between the sides, the bucket body configured to present the front opening including a cutting edge to a material, the bucket body also including a side opening in one side, wherein, in use, the bucket body is passed through material to form the trench as material passes into the bucket body through the front opening, and the side opening and corresponding side of the trench substantially forms a containment of the material with the other side and bottom of the bucket body, and on lifting of the bucket body from the trench, material is no longer contained and can exit the bucket body through the side opening. The bucket is useful in the laying of pipes, electrical conduit and the like.
La présente invention concerne un godet d'excavateur de tranchées permettant de former une tranchée étroite dans un matériau (tel que le sol), la tranchée étroite comprenant un fond et une paire de côtés opposés, le godet d'excavateur de tranchées comprenant : un corps de godet, possédant une base et une paire de côtés opposés et une ouverture avant entre les côtés, le corps de godet étant conçu pour présenter l'ouverture avant comprenant une arête de coupe à un matériau, le corps de godet comprenant également une ouverture latérale dans un côté, caractérisé en ce que, en cours d'utilisation, le corps de godet est passé à travers un matériau pour former la tranchée à mesure que le matériau passe dans le corps de godet à travers l'ouverture avant, et l'ouverture latérale et le côté correspondant de la tranchée forment sensiblement un confinement du matériau avec l'autre côté et le fond du corps de godet, et lors du levage du corps de godet hors de la tranchée, le matériau n'est plus confiné et peut sortir du corps de godet à travers l'ouverture latérale.
