FORMING A CERAMIC PRODUCT
A method of forming a ceramic product, the method comprising producing a ceramic foaming mixture in the form of a slurry, causing the slurry to foam, extruding the foamed slurry to produce a plurality of lengths of extruding material each with a diameter of less than 10mm, firing the extruded material so as to partially sinter the extruded material, forming the partially sintered extruded material into a required shape for a product, and subsequently firing the shaped partially sintered extruded material to form the ceramic product.
L'invention concerne un procédé de formation d'un produit en céramique, le procédé comprenant la production d'un mélange de moussage de céramique sous la forme d'une suspension épaisse, l'opération consistant à amener la suspension à mousser, l'extrusion de la suspension épaisse en mousse pour produire une pluralité de longueurs de matériau d'extrusion ayant chacune un diamètre inférieur à 10 mm, la cuisson du matériau extrudé de manière à fritter partiellement le matériau extrudé, le formage du matériau extrudé partiellement fritté en une forme requise pour un produit et par la suite la cuisson du matériau extrudé partiellement fritté mis en forme pour former le produit en céramique.
