LOCK WITH WATER-RESISTANT TOUCH KEYPAD
An electronic lock with a latch assembly, an interior assembly and an exterior assembly. The latch assembly includes a bolt movable between an extended position and a retracted position. The interior assembly is configured to move the bolt between the extended position and the retracted position. The exterior assembly includes a touch keypad subassembly configured to detect touches to at least a portion of its surface. The touch keypad subassembly defines an opening through which a wiring harness extends. The opening in the touch keypad subassembly is sealed, at least in part, by an epoxy resin and/or internal structure of the touch keypad subassembly.
L'invention concerne une serrure électronique ayant un ensemble loquet, un ensemble intérieur et un ensemble extérieur. L'ensemble loquet comprend un pêne mobile entre une position étendue et une position rétractée. L'ensemble intérieur est configuré pour déplacer le pêne entre la position étendue et la position rétractée. L'ensemble extérieur comprend un sous-ensemble clavier tactile configuré pour détecter des touchers sur au moins une partie de sa surface. Le sous-ensemble clavier tactile définit une ouverture à travers laquelle un faisceau de câbles s'étend. L'ouverture dans le sous-ensemble clavier tactile est scellée, au moins en partie, par une résine époxyde et/ou une structure interne du sous-ensemble clavier tactile.
