The present invention relates to a push-pull type door lock that comprises: a plate (10) fixedly mounted on the outer surface of a door in which the door lock is installed; a drive unit (20) that is installed in the plate (10) and controls a well-known latch assembly (90), which constitutes the door lock, by a user's mechanical operation to enable the door to be opened; a lever (30) that performs a push or pull operation for the mechanical operation of the drive unit (20); and a finishing cover (40) mounted on the exterior of the plate (10) to conceal the drive unit (20), thereby significantly improving durability and reliability and further enhancing the whole external appearance and an aesthetic impression through various designs.
