A drilling machine, including: a drilling device; a detection device for detecting the state of a subject of drilling by the drilling device; a storage device for storing a plurality of items of drilling information associating the state of a first portion prior to being drilled by a drilling device for learning and a first action corresponding to the first portion being drilled by the drilling device for learning; and a processing device that has an estimation unit for obtaining the state of a second portion scheduled to be drilled by the drilling device as detected by the detection unit, an operation determining unit for selecting, from among the states of the first portion in a plurality of items of drilling information, a state of the first portion corresponding to the state of the second portion obtained by the estimation unit, and determining the first operation corresponding to the selected state as a second operation performed when the second portion is drilled by the drilling device, and a drilling control unit for operating the drilling device according to the second operation.
