PLATE-FORME CIRCULAIRE ROTATIVE POUR CHARGES LOURDES
The invention relates to a rotary circular platform for heavy loads, comprising: a moving platen (135) equipped with a raceway (150); a free-standing peripheral belt (205) provided with fittings (200) supporting wheels (180, 185) that support the raceway of the central moving platen; and at least one gear motor (175) for rotating the central platen on the wheels of the peripheral belt. According to the invention, the moving platen is equipped with lower pre-tensioning elements, but does not include a central support. In certain embodiments, the moving platen is made from structural timber and formed by four assembled portions of a frame radiating from a central point. In certain embodiments, the peripheral belt is made from glued laminated timber.
