A dual locking padlock (10) having a code locking mechanism and an overriding mechanism is disclosed. A lock housing has a top body (150) as its top portion, a stack of dials (40) and a stack of clutches (50) mounted on a middle portion and a bottom portion having holes to receive screws (140) from the top body for securing the lock housing. The dials are engagingly mounted on the clutches and only rotatablely relative to the clutches when the padlock is in the opened mode for changing the combination code. The lock housing has a spindle (60) having a channel to store a heel (71) of a shackle (70). The spindle's upward movement allows the shackle to be pulled upward to unlock the padlock. The spindle is allowed to move upward either when a correct combination code is used or when a key activates the overriding mechanism. With the overriding mechanism, the padlock can also be opened with a key.
La présente invention concerne un cadenas à double verrouillage (10) comportant un mécanisme de verrouillage à code et un mécanisme prioritaire. Un boîtier de verrouillage comporte un corps supérieur (150) en tant que sa partie supérieure, en empilement de cadrans (40) et un empilement de griffes (50) montés sur une partie intermédiaire et une partie inférieure ayant des trous pour recevoir des vis (140) depuis le corps supérieur pour fixer le boîtier de verrouillage.
