The invention relates to an attachment insert for attaching a facing to a structure. Said attachment insert includes a rigid insert body (1) having peripheral raised holding portions and a means for connection to an axial attachment rod (2). In said attachment insert, the insert body (1) includes a central ring (3) that is generally oriented in a perpendicular plane in an axial direction (I-I) and includes a plurality of petals (4a - 4h) that are not connected to each other and that each extend diagonally from a petal base (5c) to a free end (6c).
