COLD HEADING FORMED WEDGE FOR USE IN POST TENSIONING CONCRETE
A wedge for use in post tensioning concrete is formed by cold heading. The cold heading operation may include providing a wire, feeding the end of the wire into a cold heading apparatus, cold heading the end of the wire to form at least one wedge blank, and finishing the wedge blank to form the wedge.
L'invention concerne une cale destinée à être utilisée pour la précontrainte par post-tension du béton, cette cale étant formée par frappe à froid. L'opération de frappe à froid peut consister à prendre un fil, à amener l'extrémité du fil dans un appareil de frappe à froid, à frapper à froid l'extrémité du fil pour former au moins une ébauche de cale, puis à procéder au finissage de l'ébauche de cale pour former la cale.
