FLOW CONTROL VALVE AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING FLOW CONTROL VALVE HOUSING
In one general aspect, a flow control valve includes: a housing including a tubular wall surrounding an interior passage, and a flow control section in which the tubular wall includes a conical inner wall surface; a protrusion disposed on an exterior surface of the tubular wall at the flow control section; a sealing member disposed in the housing and configured to be selectively moved to a sealing position in which the sealing member engages the conical inner wall surface to restrict flow of a fluid through the interior passage; and a recess disposed the conical inner wall surface and configured to allow the fluid to flow past the sealing member through the recess when the sealing member is in the sealing position, wherein the recess and the protrusion are radially aligned on the tubular wall.
La présente invention concerne, selon un aspect général, une soupape de régulation de débit comprenant : un boîtier contenant une paroi tubulaire entourant un passage intérieur et une section de régulation de débit, la paroi tubulaire contenant une surface de paroi interne conique ; une saillie disposée sur une surface extérieure de la paroi tubulaire au niveau de la section de régulation de débit ; un élément d'étanchéité disposé dans le boîtier et conçu pour être déplacé de façon sélective vers une position d'étanchéité dans laquelle l'élément d'étanchéité est en prise avec la surface de paroi interne conique pour limiter le débit d'un fluide à travers le passage intérieur ; et un évidement disposé sur la surface de paroi interne conique et conçu pour permettre au fluide de circuler au-delà de l'élément d'étanchéité à travers l'évidement lorsque l'élément d'étanchéité est dans la position d'étanchéité, l'évidement et la saillie étant alignés sur le plan radial sur la paroi tubulaire.
