Provided is an opening/closing member drive device wherein an opening/closing member can be moved in a drive direction by means of mild force when the opening/closing member is being driven. Specifically, an automatic closing device 1 that has a gear mechanism 21 that transmits the drive force of a motor 20 to an output shaft 11 that is connected to an opening/closing member 2. The output shaft 11 comprises a contacted part 108a that is separated in the radial direction from a rotational center line L0. An output gear 27 of the gear mechanism 21 comprises a contact part 105a that, when the output gear 27 rotates in a first rotation direction S1, contacts the contacted part 108a from behind in the first rotation direction S1 and makes the output shaft 11 rotate therewith. The output shaft 11 does not engage the output gear 27 and rotate, but rather co-rotates with the output gear 27 as a result of the contact part 105a contacting the contacted part 108a. When the opening/closing member 2 is operated by manpower and moved in a closing direction, only the output shaft 11, which is connected to the opening/closing member 2, rotates in the first rotation direction S1.

Plus concrètement, un dispositif de fermeture automatique (1) possède un mécanisme d'engrenage (21) qui transmet la force d'entraînement d'un moteur (20) à un axe de sortie (11) auquel est couplé l'élément ouverture/fermeture (2). L'axe de sortie (11) est équipé d'une partie pour contact (108a) en une position d'éloignement de la ligne centrale de rotation (LO) dans une direction radiale. Un engrenage de sortie (27) du mécanisme d'engrenage (21) est équipé d'une partie contact (105a) mettant en rotation commune l'axe de sortie (11) par contact avec la partie pour contact (108a) depuis l'arrière d'une première direction de rotation (S1), lorsque l'engrenage de sortie (27) exerce une rotation dans la première direction de rotation (S1). L'axe de sortie (11) n'exerce pas une rotation par mise en prise avec l'engrenage de sortie (27), mais tourne en accompagnant l'engrenage de sortie (27) par contact de la partie contact (105a) avec la partie pour contact (108a). Lorsque l'élément ouverture/fermeture (2) est déplacé dans la direction fermeture par une opération humaine, seul l'axe de sortie (11) couplé à l'élément ouverture/fermeture (2) exerce une rotation dans la première direction de rotation (S1).

開閉部材が駆動されているときに、開閉部材を弱い力で駆動方向に移動させることができる開閉部材駆動装置を提供すること。具体的には、自動閉装置１は、モータ２０の駆動力を開閉部材２が連結される出力軸１１に伝達する歯車機構２１を有する。出力軸１１はその回転中心線Ｌ０から径方向に離間する位置に被当接部１０８ａを備える。歯車機構２１の出力歯車２７は当該出力歯車２７が第１回転方向Ｓ１に回転するときに当該第１回転方向Ｓ１の後方から被当接部１０８ａに当接して出力軸１１を供回りさせる当接部１０５ａを備える。出力軸１１は出力歯車２７に噛合して回転するのではなく、当接部１０５ａが被当接部１０８ａに当接することにより出力歯車２７に連れ回する。開閉部材２が人力によって操作されて閉方向に移動した場合には、開閉部材２に連結された出力軸１１のみが第１回転方向Ｓ１に回転する。
