Die Erfindung betrifft ein Türband, ein inneres und ein äußeres Türbandteil (1, 2; 4, 5) aufweisend, wobei das innere und äußere Türbandteil (1, 2; 4, 5) Befestigungsmittel (1, 4), insbesondere in Form von Bandlappen, zur Montage am Türrahmen bzw. an der Tür aufweisen, wobei das äußere Türbandteil (1, 2) zwei Lagerabschnitte (2) aufweist, die durch das Befestigungsmittel (1) miteinander fest verbunden sind, und dass das innere Türbandteil (4, 5) einen Lagerabschnitt (5) aufweist, der zwischen den zwei Lagerabschnitten (2) des äußeren Türbandteils (1, 2) angeordnet ist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass mindestens ein Lagerabschnitt (2, 5) eine stirnseitige Ausnehmung in Form eines Sacklochs (2a) mit ebenem Boden (2d) aufweist, und in dem Sackloch (2a) ein erstes zylinderförmiges Gleitschalenelement (6) einliegt und mit seiner stirnseitigen Außenwand (6c) am Boden (2d) des Sacklochs (2a) flächig anliegt, wobei das erste Gleitschalenelement (6) eine kugelkalottenförmige Wandung (6a) aufweist, in der eine Kugel (7), insbesondere aus Metall, einliegt, und dass ein zweites zylinderförmiges Gleitschalenelement (8) in dem Sackloch (2a) ganz oder teilweise einliegt, welches an seiner der Kugel (7) zugewandten Stirnseite eine konkave kugelkalottenförmige Wandung (6a) aufweist, die flächig an der Kugeloberfläche anliegt, wobei das zweite zylinderförmige Gleitschalenelement (8) an seiner der Kugel (7) abgewandten Stirnseite eine zentrische Ausnehmung (8c) aufweist, in die ein, insbesondere zylindrischer, Vorsprung (5b, 5c) des benachbarten Lagerabschnitts (2, 5) eingreift, wobei sich der Vorsprung (5b, 5c) mit seiner Stirnseite (5d) an der Bodenwandung (8b) der zentrischen Ausnehmung (8c) abstützt.
