VEHICLE OCCUPANT INFORMATION ACQUISITION SYSTEM
Provided is a vehicle occupant information acquisition system. A portable device (200) for a vehicle is provided with a function of performing short-distance communication with portable terminals (300). The portable device (200) for a vehicle identifies a holder terminal on the basis of the amount of fluctuation in the reception signal strength of a signal transmitted from each of the portable terminals (300), and transmits a holder information signal indicating the holder terminal to an onboard device (100). The onboard device (100) specifies a user holding the portable device (200) for a vehicle on the basis of the holder information signal received from the portable device (200) for a vehicle. The onboard device (100) also specifies the portable device position by receiving a response signal in response to a signal transmitted to the portable device (200) for a vehicle. The onboard device then deems the seat determined by the portable device position to be the seating position for the user deemed to be the portable device holder.

Un dispositif portatif (200) pour un véhicule comporte une fonction de réalisation d'une communication à courte distance avec des terminaux portatifs (300). Le dispositif portatif (200) pour un véhicule identifie un terminal de porteur sur la base de la quantité de fluctuation dans la force de signal de réception d'un signal transmis à partir chacun des terminaux portatifs (300), et transmet un signal d'information de porteur indiquant le terminal de porteur à un dispositif embarqué (100). Le dispositif embarqué (100) spécifie un utilisateur portant le dispositif portatif (200) pour un véhicule sur la base du signal d'information de porteur reçu à partir du dispositif portatif (200) pour un véhicule.
