The present invention relates to a cutting tool comprising a cemented carbide substrate, comprising WC, gamma phase and a binder phase, said substrate is provided with a binder phase enriched surface zone which is depleted of gamma phase, wherein no graphite and no eta phase is present in the microstructure and wherein the binder phase is a high entropy alloy.
La présente invention concerne un outil de coupe comprenant un substrat en carbure cémenté, comprenant du WC, une phase gamma et une phase liante, ledit substrat étant pourvu d'une zone de surface enrichie en phase liante qui est appauvrie en phase gamma, aucun graphite et aucune phase eta n'étant présente dans la microstructure et la phase liante étant un alliage à entropie élevée.
