LIGHT WEIGHT CONCRETE
There is provided a scaffold for forming a light weight concrete composition, the scaffold including: an upper surface and an under surface parallel with the upper surface; a plurality of hollow cell structures, each hollow cell structure including: a central pore having an axis that extends perpendicularly from a first opening in the upper surface to a second opening in the under surface, and a wall having an external surface and an internal surface bounding the central pore and forming the first and second openings, the wall adapted to receive and retain a cementitious composition thereon as a substantially continuous film; wherein the plurality of hollow cell structures are arranged adjacent to each other in an array to form the scaffold.
L'invention concerne un échafaudage pour former une composition de béton léger, l'échafaudage comprenant : une surface supérieure et une surface inférieure parallèle à la surface supérieure ; une pluralité de structures à cellule creuse, chaque structure à cellule creuse comprenant un pore central présentant un axe qui s'étend perpendiculairement à partir d'une première ouverture dans la surface supérieure vers une deuxième ouverture dans la surface inférieure et une paroi présentant une surface externe et une surface interne délimitant le pore central et formant la première et la deuxième ouverture, la paroi étant conçue pour recevoir et retenir une composition cimentaire sur elle sous forme d'un film sensiblement continu ; la pluralité de structures à cellule creuse étant disposées de manière adjacente les unes aux autres dans une matrice pour former l'échafaudage.
