Eine Vorrichtung zum selektiven Antreiben einer Klappe, insbesondere eines Kraftfahrzeugs, mit einer Steuereinrichtung zur Ansteuerung einer Antriebseinheit, durch welche die Klappe antreibbar, abbremsbar oder feststellbar ist, umfasst eine Sensorik zur Überwachung wenigstens eines Detektionsbereichs, wobei die Steuereinrichtung dazu ausgebildet ist, die Antriebseinheit in Abhängigkeit vom Zustand des überwachten Detektionsbereichs anzusteuern.
