A TRANSITION BARRIER FOR CONNECTING A PERMANENT BARRIER TO A TEMPORARY BARRIER
A transition barrier for transitioning from a permanent median barrier to a temporary median barrier, the transition barrier having: a) a first end; the first end being connectable to the permanent median barrier by a permanent median barrier connector; b) a second end; the second end being connectable to the temporary median barrier by a temporary median barrier connector; c) a transition section defining a transition wall of a predetermined length between the first end and the second end; the transition wall having a top, bottom, front and a back; d) at least one barrier brace proximate the transition wall, for supporting said transition wall; and e) at least one spacer, proximate the back of the transition wall for contact with a surface of the permanent concrete barrier.
L'invention concerne une barrière de transition permettant de passer d'une barrière médiane permanente à une barrière médiane temporaire, la barrière de transition comportant : a) une première extrémité ; la première extrémité pouvant être raccordée à la barrière médiane permanente par un connecteur de barrière médiane permanente ; b) une seconde extrémité ; la seconde extrémité pouvant être raccordée à la barrière médiane temporaire par un connecteur de barrière médiane temporaire ; c) une section de transition définissant une paroi de transition d'une longueur prédéterminée entre la première extrémité et la seconde extrémité ; la paroi de transition ayant une partie supérieure, un fond, une partie avant et une partie arrière ; d) au moins un support de barrière à proximité de la paroi de transition, destiné à supporter ladite paroi de transition ; et e) au moins une entretoise, à proximité de l'arrière de la paroi de transition, permettant un contact avec une surface de la barrière permanente en béton.
