Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Steuerung von Funktionen eines Fahrzeugs (10) durch einen Benutzer (16) mittels einer Fernbedienung (15). Erfindungsgemäß wird nach Betätigung der Fernbedienung (15) zum Aufruf einer Funktion die aufgerufene Funktion erst ausgeführt, nachdem eine weitere Betätigung der Fernbedienung (15) durch den Benutzer (16) erfolgt ist.
