ANTI-SNAP CYLINDER LOCK
A cylinder lock comprising a rotatable lock engaging element, a first lock actuation assembly comprising a first clutch for engaging said lock engaging element for rotation, and a second lock actuation assembly comprising a second clutch for engaging said lock engaging element for rotation, in which said second lock actuation assembly comprises a weak point which suffers failure when subjected to a pre-determined force, which failure allows removal of at least part of said second lock actuation assembly, in which a first spring biases said first clutch into an advanced position when said removal occurs, and in which said cylinder lock comprises a spring loaded pin which engages a slot on said first clutch in said advanced position to connect said first clutch to said lock engaging element.
L'invention concerne un verrou à barillet comprenant un élément de mise en prise de verrou rotatif, un premier ensemble d'actionnement de verrou comprenant un premier embrayage pour venir en prise avec ledit élément de mise en prise de verrou pour une rotation, et un second ensemble d'actionnement de verrou comprenant un second embrayage pour venir en prise avec ledit élément de mise en prise de verrou pour une rotation, dans lequel ledit second ensemble d'actionnement de verrou comprend un point faible qui subit une défaillance lorsqu'il est soumis à une force prédéterminée, ladite défaillance permettant le retrait d'au moins une partie dudit second ensemble d'actionnement de verrou, dans laquelle un premier ressort sollicite ledit premier embrayage dans une position avancée lorsque ladite élimination se produit, et dans laquelle ledit verrou à barillet comprend un linguet à ressort qui vient en prise avec une fente sur ledit premier embrayage dans ladite position avancée en vue de relier ledit premier embrayage audit élément de mise en prise de verrou.
