LIGHT SHIELDING DEVICE, LIGHT SHIELDING METHOD, AND PROGRAM
The present technology pertains to a light shielding device, a light shielding method, and a program by which, according to bio-information, what is to be made invisible to a person can be hidden so as to be invisible, or what is to be intended to be viewed can be made visible. The present invention: uses, as a window, a light shielding wall which is a partition between two spaces and which is formed of a plurality of panels that can be controlled to come into a transmission state for transmitting light or into a light shielding state for shielding light; detects, as bio-information, the direction of a sleeping user's face; and controls the light shielding wall such that, when the time that an alarm has been set is reached, a light sourced by the sun becomes visibly recognizable to the user, whereby the light, the source of which is the sun and which is to be intended to be viewed, is made visible. Accordingly, the user can wake up comfortably. The present disclosure is applicable to a light shielding wall.
