GYPSUM CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS
In accordance with the invention there is provided a compacted gypsum having a material density of less than 1800 kg/m3. The products of the invention can be made by a process for preparing a compacted gypsum product, which process comprises preparing a mixture comprising raw gypsum and an aggregate having a lower material density than said compacted pure gypsum, followed by compacting said mixture. The products of the present invention have a high mechanical strength that is sufficiently high for construction purposes, in particular for the construction of internal, non-loadbearing walls in buildings, while maintaining a low material density (high porosity).
L'invention concerne un gypse compacté présentant une densité de matériau inférieure à 1800 kg/m3. Les produits de l'invention peuvent être fabriqués par un procédé de préparation d'un produit de gypse compacté, ledit procédé comprenant la préparation d'un mélange comprenant du gypse brut et un agrégat présentant une densité de matériau inférieure à celle dudit gypse pur compacté, suivie par le compactage dudit mélange. Les produits de la présente invention présentent une résistance mécanique élevée qui est suffisamment élevée à des fins de construction, en particulier pour la construction de murs intérieurs non porteurs dans des bâtiments, tout en conservant une faible densité de matériau (porosité élevée).

L'invention concerne un gypse compacté présentant une densité de matériau inférieure à 1800 kg/m3. Les produits de l'invention peuvent être fabriqués par un procédé de préparation d'un produit de gypse compacté, ledit procédé comprenant la préparation d'un mélange comprenant du gypse brut et un agrégat présentant une densité de matériau inférieure à celle dudit gypse pur compacté, suivie par le compactage dudit mélange. Les produits de la présente invention présentent une résistance mécanique élevée qui est suffisamment élevée à des fins de construction, en particulier pour la construction de murs intérieurs non porteurs dans des bâtiments, tout en conservant une faible densité de matériau (porosité élevée).
