The invention relates to a method for making the crossing of a railway line safe for a pedestrian or cyclist, said line comprising a rail 1 laid into the ground, and a groove 11 for the passage of a flange 4 of a wheel 2 of railway stock, said method involving laying, in said groove 11, a profiled section 14 which is elastically deformable when the wheel 2 passes over it yet which remains substantially undeformed when a pedestrian or two-wheeled vehicle passes over it.
Procédé pour sécuriser le franchissement d'une voie ferrée par un piéton ou un cycliste, cette voie comprenant un rail enterré 1 et une gorge 11 pour le passage du boudin 4 d'une roue 2 de matériel ferroviaire, ce procédé comprenant la pose, dans la gorge 11, d'un profilé 14 élastiquenient déformable au passage de la roue 2 et sensiblement pas déformable au passage d'un piéton ou d'un deux -roues.
