The present invention relates to a surfacing product for plasterboards, comprising a woven/scrim laminate made up of (a) a weave of glass fibres bound by a first organic polymer, preferably cross-linked, hereinafter referred to as "binder", and (b) a scrim of glass yarns bound by a second organic polymer, hereinafter referred to as "adhesive", made up of 50 wt% to 100 wt% of PVDC or a copolymer made of polyvinylidene chloride, and 0 wt% to 50 wt% of a styrene-butadiene rubber (SBR), the scrim of glass yarns being adhered to the weave of glass fibres by means of said adhesive, the woven/scrim laminate being coated, on the scrim surface thereof, with a continuous layer of a hydrophobic coating containing: 8 wt% to 25 wt%, preferably 9 wt% to 20 wt%, in particular 10 wt% to 15 wt%, of an organic polymer selected among the styrene-butadiene rubbers (SBR), the acrylic polymers, poly(vinyl chloride) (PVC), polyvinylidene chloride copolymers and mixtures of at least two of these organic polymers; and 75 wt% to 92 wt%, preferably 80 wt% to 91 wt% and in particular 85 wt% to 90 wt%, of mineral particles, said percentages being expressed relative to the sum of these two components, said hydrophobic coating covering the scrim of glass yarns but leaving the weave surface of the laminate bare.
La présente invention concerne un produit de surfaçage pour plaques de plâtre, comprenant un stratifié voile/grille formé (a) d'un voile de fibres de verre lié par un premier polymère organique, de préférence réticulé, appelé ci-après « liant » et (b) d'une grille de fils de verre liée par un deuxième polymère organique, appelé ci-après « colle », constitué de 50 à 100 % en poids de PVDC ou d'un copolymère à base de chlorure de vinylidène, et de 0 à 50 % en poids d'un caoutchouc styrène-butadiène (SBR), la grille de fils de verre étant collée au voile de fibres de verre au moyen de ladite colle, le stratifié voile/grille étant revêtu, sur sa face grille, d'une couche continue d'un revêtement hydrophobe contenant - de 8 à 25 % en poids, de préférence de 9 % à 20 % en poids, en particulier de 10 à 15 % en poids, d'un polymère organique choisi parmi les caoutchoucs styrène-butadiène (SBR), les polymères acryliques, le poly(chlorure de vinylidène) (PVDC), les copolymères à base de chlorure de vinylidène et les mélanges d'au moins deux de ces polymères organiques, et - de 75 à 92 % en poids, de préférence de 80 à 91 % en poids et en particulier de 85 % à 90 % en poids, de particules minérales, ces pourcentages étant exprimés par rapport à la somme de ces deux composants, ledit revêtement hydrophobe recouvrant la grille de fils de verre mais laissant à nu la face voile du stratifié.
