In an embodiment, a frame is provided. The frame includes a first long member and a second long member. The frame also includes a first short member coupled to each of the first long member and the second long member with a corner clip and a hinge. The frame further includes a second short member coupled to each of the first long member and the second long member with a corner clip and a hinge. The frame also includes a plurality of stretchers provided within the long members and short members. Each stretcher includes a ratcheting clip engaged with a gear disposed within a frame member to receive a portion of material of an artwork. Each gear is further engaged with a spring clip to force the gear against a wall of the frame and each gear is further formed to receive a tool to rotate the gear.
