IMPROVEMENTS IN STEP LADDER STABILISERS
The present invention is directed to a step ladder stabiliser for ensuring a step ladder remains upright when in use, comprising a folding member ensemble which can be stored on the subject ladder and then folds down advantageously in an automated action when the step ladder is opened. The invention derives a central tubular support leg of two sections, with a foot, which extends from the step ladder side at its upper hand rail and two lower mounted supporting tubular struts which also extend from the step ladder but on both sides, to adjoin laterally with the lower section of the support leg at two points. Rotating and pivoting joints at the ends of the leg and struts enable the adjustment of the leg and its gripping foot and also enable the rapid folding away when not in use.
La présente invention concerne un stabilisateur d'escabeau qui permet de garantir qu'un escabeau reste droit lors de son utilisation et qui comprend un ensemble élément de pliage qui peut être stocké sur l'escabeau concerné, puis qui se replie avantageusement dans une action automatisée lorsque l'escabeau est ouvert. L'invention comprend un montant de support tubulaire central en deux sections, pourvu d'un pied, qui s'étend à partir du côté de l'escabeau au niveau de sa barre d'appui supérieure, et de deux béquilles tubulaires de support inférieures, qui s'étendent également à partir de l'escabeau mais des deux côtés, de manière à être adjacentes latéralement à la section inférieure du montant de support au niveau de deux points. Des articulations tournantes et pivotantes au niveau des extrémités du montant et des béquilles permettent le réglage du montant et de son pied de préhension, ainsi que le pliage rapide lorsque l'escabeau n'est pas utilisé.
