The invention relates to a stop (1) for a pivoting opening such as a door or a window, which stop comprises a body (10) made of an elastically deformable material, the body having an original shape that it tends to adopt or return to in the absence of or against external constraints, characterised in that the body forms a concave area (2), the base of which is open and is defined by an edge (3) capable of forming a contact with a flat surface, and in that the body has an external cooperation surface liable to be deformed by part of a door or a window in order to exert an effect of flattening the concave area on a flat surface with which the edge is in contact.
L'invention concerne une butée d'arrêt (1) pour ouvrant pivotant tel qu'une porte ou une fenêtre, qui comprend un corps (10) réalisé en un matériau élastiquement déformable, le corps présentant une forme d'origine qu'il tend à prendre ou à reprendre en l'absence ou à l'encontre de contraintes externes, caractérisée en ce que le corps forme une concavité (2) dont la base est ouverte et est délimitée par un rebord (3) apte à former un contact avec une surface plane, et en ce que le corps présente une surface de coopération externe susceptible d'être déformée par une partie de porte ou de fenêtre pour exercer un effet d'aplatissement de la concavité sur une surface plane avec laquelle le rebord est en contact.
