HINGE ALLOWING OPENING ALONG MORE THAN ONE AXIS AND COMPLETE DISENGAGING OF HINGE AND REMOVAL OF HINGED DEVICE
The present invention provides a hinge apparatus for attaching a hinged device, such as a lid or door, to a structure to which the hinged device is to be attached. The hinge apparatus operates using hinge pins operable to selectively engage or disengage between the hinged device and the structure. In a closed position all pins can be engaged between the hinged device and the structure to hold the hinged device in the closed position. When desired to move the device to an open position, the hinge apparatus is operated so the pins on the desired hinge side are engaged between the hinged device and the structure while the pins on the opposite side of the hinged device are disengaged between the hinged device and the structure. This allows the hinged device to be rotated about the selected engaged pins, the engaged pins forming the hinge axis.
La présente invention concerne un appareil charnière pour fixer un dispositif articulé, tel qu'un couvercle ou une porte, à une structure à laquelle le dispositif articulé doit être fixé. L'appareil charnière fonctionne à l'aide de broches de charnière pouvant servir à venir en prise ou à se désengager de manière sélective entre le dispositif articulé et la structure. Dans une position fermée, toutes les broches peuvent être mises en prise entre le dispositif articulé et la structure pour maintenir le dispositif articulé en position fermée.
