A mesh tape bonded to the outer edge or outward side of sheet panel products. The mesh tape is applied so that the tape overhangs the edge of the panel for the purpose of adjoining to the adjacent panel following installation of the panels at a job site. The mesh may be applied to two edges of the sheet panel, one along the panel width and another along the panel length. When installed, the panel edge with the mesh tape applied is overlapped with the edge of an adjacent panel that does not have tape applied, both along the length and width, thus allowing for a faster, more robust and reliable installation of panel sheathing.
L'invention concerne une bande maillée liée au bord externe ou au côté extérieur de produits de type panneau en feuille. La bande maillée est appliquée de telle sorte que la bande surplombe le bord du panneau dans le but de se joindre au panneau adjacent après l'installation des panneaux au niveau d'un site de travail. Le maillage peut être appliqué à deux bords du panneau de feuille, un le long de la largeur du panneau et un autre le long de la longueur du panneau. Après l'installation, le bord de panneau avec la bande maillée appliquée est chevauché par le bord d'un panneau adjacent qui n'a pas de bande appliquée, à la fois le long de la longueur et de la largeur, permettant ainsi une installation plus rapide, plus robuste et plus fiable d'un revêtement de panneau.
