A removable holder for a basketball hoop pole includes a C-clamp assembly for securing the holder to a structure such as a post, a retaining wall or concrete street curbing, a pole sleeve joined to the C-clamp assembly and including i) a channel having a longitudinal opening for receiving the pole, and ii) a removable cover that cooperates with the channel to close the longitudinal opening; and a tightening system for securing the pole into the pole sleeve in a solidary parallel relationship between the pole and the pole sleeve. The holder for a basketball hoop pole is easy and quick to install as easy to remove so as to be stored or moved to another location. The use of such a holder to mount a basketball hoop system to a structure results in an installation that is as rigid and safe as a permanent installation with, however, the advantages of a removable and portable system.
L'invention concerne support amovible pour un poteau de panier de basket-ball comprenant un ensemble de serrage en C pour fixer le support à une structure telle qu'un mât, un mur de soutènement ou une bordure de rue en béton, un manchon de poteau relié à l'ensemble de serrage en C et comprenant i) un canal ayant une ouverture longitudinale pour recevoir le poteau, et ii) un couvercle amovible qui coopère avec le canal pour fermer l'ouverture longitudinale ; et un système de serrage pour fixer le poteau dans le manchon de poteau dans une relation parallèle solide entre le poteau et le manchon de poteau. Le support pour un poteau de panier de basket-ball est facile et rapide à installer et facile à retirer de façon à être rangé ou déplacé vers un autre emplacement.
