DISPERSIONSPULVER-ZUSAMMENSETZUNG ENTHALTEND VINYLALKOHOL-COPOLYMERISAT
Gegenstand der Erfindung sind in Wasser redispergierbare Polymerpulver-Zusammensetzungen enthaltend Vinylalkohol-Copolymerisat, welche dadurch erhalten werden, dass ein oder mehrere ethylenisch ungesättigte Monomere in Gegenwart von Schutzkolloid und/oder Emulgator in wässrigem Medium radikalisch polymerisiert werden, und die dabei erhaltene wässrige Polymerdispersion nach Zusatz eines Schutzkolloids als Trocknungshilfe getrocknet wird, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass bei der Polymerisation und/oder der Trocknung als Schutzkolloid ein oder mehrere Vinylalkohol-Copolymerisate enthaltend a) 80 bis 99 Mol-% Vinylalkohol-Monomereinheiten, b) 0,5 bis 10 Mol-% Monomereinheiten, welche sich von Vinylestern von unverzweigten oder verzweigten Alkylcarbonsäuren mit 3 bis 18 C-Atomen ableiten, c) 0,5 bis 10 Mol-% Monomereinheiten, welche sich von ethylenisch ungesättigten Monomeren mit einer oder mehreren funktionellen Gruppen, ausgewählt aus der Gruppe umfassend Carbonsäure-Rest, Sulfonsäure-Rest, quaternisierter Amin-Rest, Phosphorsäure-Rest, sowie deren Salze, ableiten, und d) 0 bis 5 Mol-% Vinylacetat-Monomereinheiten, wobei sich die Angaben in Mol-% jeweils auf 100 Mol-% aufaddieren, verwendet werden.
The invention relates to polymer powder compositions which can be redispersed in water and which contain a vinyl alcohol copolymerisate. The compositions are obtained in that one or more ethylenically unsaturated monomers are radically polymerized in the presence of protective colloids and/or emulsifiers in an aqueous medium, and the aqueous polymer dispersion obtained in this manner is dried by adding a protective colloid as a drying aid. The invention is characterized in that during the polymerization and/or drying process, one or more vinyl alcohol copolymerisates are used as protective colloids containing a) 80 to 99 mol.% of vinyl alcohol monomer units, b) 0.5 to 10 mol.% of monomer units which are derived from vinyl esters of unbranched or branched alkyl carboxylic acids with 3 to 18 C atoms, c) 0.5 to 10 mol.% of monomer units which are derived from ethylenically unsaturated monomers with one or more functional groups selected from the group comprising a carboxylic acid group, a sulfonic acid group, a quaternized amine group, a phosphoric acid group, and the salts thereof, and d) 0 to 5 mol.% of vinyl acetate monomer units, wherein the specifications in mol.% add up to 100 mol.% in each case.
L'invention a pour objet des compositions de poudres polymères redispersibles dans l'eau, contenant un copolymère d'alcool vinylique, lesquelles compositions sont obtenues par le fait qu'un ou plusieurs monomères éthyléniquement insaturés sont polymérisés par voie radicalaire en présence d'un colloïde protecteur et/ou d'un émulsifiant en milieu aqueux, et la dispersion polymère aqueuse ainsi obtenue est séchée après addition d'un colloïde protecteur en guise d'auxiliaire de séchage. L'invention est caractérisée en ce que, lors de la polymérisation et/ou du séchage, on utilise en guise de colloïde protecteur un ou plusieurs copolymères d'alcool vinylique contenant a) 80 à 99 % en moles de motifs monomères d'alcool vinylique, b) 0,5 à 10 % en moles de motifs monomères qui sont dérivés d'esters vinyliques d'acides alkylcarboxyliques ramifiés ou non ramifiés ayant de 3 à 18 atomes de carbone, c) 0,5 à 10 % en moles de motifs monomères qui sont dérivés de monomères éthyléniquement insaturés ayant un ou plusieurs groupes fonctionnels choisis dans le groupe constitué par le radical acide carboxylique, le radical acide sulfonique, le radical amine quaternisé, le radical acide phosphorique, ainsi que leurs sels, et d) 0 à 5 % en moles de motifs monomères d'acétate de vinyle, les pourcentages en moles s'additionnant pour donner un total de 100 % en moles.
