This present invention relates to a wave pool system (1) which may create artificial ocean-like waves for the amusement parks, comprising a pool (P), a water reservoir (2) for storing water, a valve (3) for allowing the passage of stored water to the pool (P) over a pipe (4), an actuator to control the water flow and a channel (5) located on the floor of the pool (P) to guide the water through the pool (P).
