ANTIBALLISTIC WINDOW RETROFITTING APPARATUS AND METHOD
A system and method for retrofitting installed thermal windows to provide anti-ballistic properties to the windows by using a portable system for filling gaps in the windows with an anti-ballistic material that may or may not be cured. Also provided is an optional capability to add controllable tinting capability to these retrofitted windows.
Cette invention concerne un système et un procédé de modification de fenêtres thermiques installées afin de conférer des propriétés pare-balles aux fenêtres à l'aide d'un système portable conçu pour remplir des espaces dans les fenêtres avec un matériau pare-balles qui peut ou non être durci. Optionnellement, l'invention permet d'ajouter une capacité de coloration contrôlable à ces fenêtres modifiées.
