The invention concerns a covering element (10), intended to be associated with a plurality of other covering elements (10), said element (10) comprising a plate (17) delimited by: - two first opposing edges (11, 12), formed respectively by an upper corrugation (110) and a lower corrugation (120), - two second opposing edges (13, 14) perpendicular to the first edges (11, 12), the covering element (10) comprising an inner face (16) and an outer face (15), the corrugations having cross sections of different dimensions, such that the upper corrugation (110) can overlap the lower corrugation (120) of another covering element (10), and one of the second edges (13) having, over a distance (d) referred to as the distance of overlap relative to said edge (13), a recess (18), offset perpendicular to the plate (17), towards the inner face (16), by a distance equal at any point to the thickness of the covering element (10).
L'invention concerne un élément de recouvrement (10), destiné à être associé avec une pluralité d'autres éléments de recouvrement (10), ledit élément (10) comprenant une plaque (17) délimitée par : - deux premiers bords (11, 12) opposés, formés respectivement par une onde supérieure (110) et une onde inférieure (120), - deux seconds bords (13, 14) opposés perpendiculaires aux premiers bords (11, 12), l'élément de recouvrement (10) comprenant une face interne (16), et une face externe (15), les ondes présentant des sections de dimensions différentes, telles que l'onde supérieure (110) puisse chevaucher l'onde inférieure (120) d'un autre élément de recouvrement (10), et un des seconds bords (13) présentant sur une distance (d) dite de recouvrement par rapport audit bord (13), un décroché bas (18), décalé perpendiculairement par rapport à la plaque (17), en direction de la face interne (16), d'une distance égale en tout point à l'épaisseur de l'élément de recouvrement (10).
