Method for mounting wall panels (301A,301B) to a surface, such as a wall, including: providing a first wall panel (301A), said first wall panel (301A) comprising a plastics wall panel having a profiled first edge (307A), said profiled first edge (307A) including a recessed surface extending along at least a part of the length of the profiled first edge (307A); mounting the first wall panel (301A) to the surface such that the recessed surface presents an undercut void on an inner side of the first wall panel (301A); and applying settable sealant (319) to the profiled first edge (307A) such that some of the sealant (319) bonds to the recessed surface.
L'invention concerne un procédé de montage de panneaux muraux (301A,301B) sur une surface, telle qu'un mur, qui consiste à: utiliser un premier panneau mural (301A), ledit premier panneau mural (301A) comprenant un panneau de paroi en matière plastique ayant un premier bord profilé (307A), ledit premier bord profilé (307A) comprenant une surface en creux s'étendant le long d'au moins une partie de la longueur du premier bord profilé (307A); monter le premier panneau mural (301A) sur la surface de telle sorte que la surface en creux présente un vide en contre-dépouille sur un côté interne du premier panneau mural (301A); et appliquer un matériau d'étanchéité durcissable (319) sur le premier bord profilé (307A) de telle sorte qu'une certaine quantité du matériau d'étanchéité (319) se lie à la surface en creux.
