The shell includes silica and has an inner surface and an outer surface. The method also includes forming the liner on the inner surface of the shell. The liner is formed of synthetic silica.

La coque comprend de la silice et possède une surface interne et une surface externe. Le procédé comprend également la formation du revêtement sur la surface interne de la coque. Le revêtement est formé de silice de synthèse.
