The invention relates to a joystick device (10; 10') for controlling a working machine (100), wherein the joystick device comprises: a base (12; 12'); a first upright stick member (16; 16') movably attached to the base and having at least two degrees of freedom (18, 20; 18', 20'); a second stick member (22; 22') attached so as to be movable relative to the first upright stick member and having at least one degree of freedom (26; 26'); and a third stick member (30; 30') movably attached to the second stick member and having at least one degree of freedom (34; 34'). The invention also relates to a working machine (100) comprising a joystick device (10; 10'), and to a method of controlling a working machine (100).
