EXTERIOR THERMAL INSULATED WALL SYSTEM FOR BUILDINGS
An assembly of purpose-made components that individually and collectively provide a high performance thermal wall system for the exterior of buildings, functioning like a vertical truss, to accommodate up to 400mm of wall insulation or more, with near thermal - bridge-free construction, and providing support for an exterior wall cladding system. The system components include a factory-dimpled and milled intermediate steel girt attached with a specially threaded screw through insulation to the structure and vertically supported by a heavy-gauge bent wire tension strap that carries the wall loads onto the building structure; a die-formed bent steel clip to support the exterior part of the wall system onto the girt, with a thin plastic thermal break separating the clip from the girt. The system relates to architecture and building construction for use with a wide range of structural systems, insulation, and cladding types.
L'invention concerne un ensemble d'éléments spécifiques qui fournissent individuellement et collectivement un système de paroi thermique à haute performance pour l'extérieur de bâtiments, fonctionnant comme une armature verticale, pour s'adapter à 400 mm d'isolation de paroi ou plus, avec une construction sans pont thermique proche, et fournissant un support pour un système de revêtement de paroi extérieure. Les éléments du système comportent une entretoise d'acier intermédiaire alvéolée et fraisée en usine fixée à une vis spécialement filetée par l'intermédiaire d'une isolation sur la structure et soutenue verticalement par une sangle de tension de fil courbée de gros calibre qui porte les charges de paroi sur la structure de bâtiment ; une pince en acier pliée en forme de matrice destinée à soutenir la partie extérieure du système de paroi sur l'entretoise, une fine barrière thermique en plastique séparant la pince de l'entretoise. Le système concerne une architecture et une construction de bâtiment destinées à être utilisées avec une large gamme de systèmes structuraux, d'isolations et de types de revêtement.
