A ground surface access assembly cover (16) for a support frame (12) surrounding and defining an aperture; the cover (16) comprising a main body portion (30) dimensioned to substantially seal the aperture, with a reinforcement member (60) extending downwardly from on an underside surface of the main body portion (30); the reinforcement member (60) being inset from the cover rim, centrally located, and comprising a continuous angled beam (having no end faces) that is integrally formed with the main body portion (30).
