SUCTION-DRIVEN POOL CLEANER WITH ONBOARD DEBRIS TRAP
A suction-driven pool cleaner comprises a body, a water source connection, a drive, a suspension arrangement and a filter basket. The body defines an interior and a first suction opening communicating therewith on a lower surface thereof. The water source connection extends from the body. The drive is mounted to the body, and includes a drive housing in fluid communication with the first suction opening and the water source connection such that associated water flow passing to the water source connection from the first suction opening is directed through the drive housing. The suspension arrangement is driven by the drive and supports the body for motion over a pool surface. The filter basket is arranged in the interior of the body, such that the associated water flow from the first suction opening passes through the filter basket before being directed through the drive housing.
La présente invention concerne un dispositif de nettoyage de piscine comprenant un corps, un raccordement à une source d'eau, un entraînement par engrenages et un agencement de suspension. Le corps est formé d'un intérieur et d'une première ouverture d'aspiration communiquant avec celui-ci sur une de ses surfaces inférieures. Le raccordement à la source d'eau se fait à partir du corps. L'entraînement est monté sur le corps et comprend un boîtier d'entraînement en communication fluidique avec la première ouverture d'aspiration et le raccordement à la source d'eau de telle sorte qu'un écoulement d'eau associé passant par la première ouverture d'aspiration vers le raccordement à la source d'eau traverse le boîtier d'entraînement. L'agencement de suspension est actionné par l'entraînement par engrenages et supporte le corps pour lui permettre de se déplacer sur une surface de piscine. Le panier-filtre est disposé à l'intérieur du corps, de telle sorte que l'écoulement d'eau associé provenant de la première ouverture d'aspiration traverse le panier-filtre avant d'être dirigé dans le boîtier d'entraînement.
