The invention relates to a fastening ring (17) for a lock (5) of a door or window leaf, the lock (5) comprising a stator (9), a rotor (29) and a connecting link (3) to actuate a transmission member comprising a sheath and a cable that can slide inside the sheath, the ring (17) comprising an annular portion (19) to be fastened around the stator (9) and a retaining lug (21) for the end of the cable.
