GLASS PANEL UNIT, GLASS WINDOW, METHOD FOR PRODUCING GLASS PANEL UNIT, AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING GLASS WINDOW
Provided are a glass panel unit, a glass window, a method for producing a glass panel unit, and a method for producing a glass window, with which it is possible to firmly seal an exhaust hole, without an exhaust pipe protruding out from the glass panel unit. This glass panel unit is provided with a first panel (1), a second panel (2), a frame-shaped seal part (41), a hole sealing material (42), and a bonding part (47). The seal part (41) creates air-tight bonding of peripheral edge parts of the first panel (1) and the second panel (2) so as to form a depressurized sealed space (51) between the first panel (1) and the second panel (2). The hole sealing material (42) creates airtight sealing of an exhaust hole (50) that is included in one of the panels, either the first panel (1) or the second panel (2). The bonding part (47) bonds the first panel (1) and the second panel (2) at part of a peripheral edge part of the exhaust hole (50), thus preventing separation of the first panel (1) and the second panel (2).
