Ein System zum Aufbau eines Möbels, von Stellwänden oder eines Messestands weist wenigstens eine Tragstruktur (10) auf, die flächig ausgebildet ist und mehrere seitliche Kanten (10a, 10b) aufweist, wobei an wenigstens zwei Kanten (10a, 10b) Schnittstellen (12) vorgesehen sind, die zur Verbindung mit weiteren Systemkomponenten bestimmt und geeignet sind. Wenigstens ein Stellelement (14) ist an den an den Kanten (10a, 10b) angeordneten Schnittstellen (12) der wenigstens einen Tragstruktur (10) form- und/oder kraftschlüssig befestigbar. Dadurch, dass die in den Kanten (10a, 10b) der Tragstruktur (10) angeordneten und von der Tragstruktur gesonderten Schnittstellen (12) in die Tragstruktur (10) zumindest teilweise integriert und in Aussparungen (13) angeordnet sind, die in den seitlichen Kanten (10a, 10b) vorgesehen sind, und dass das wenigstens eine Stellelement (14, 14', 14'') mit einem Gegenstück zur jeweiligen Schnittstelle (12) an den Schnittstellen (12) festlegbar ist, wird ein flexibles, modulares System mit Schnittstellen an den Kanten einer Tragstruktur geschaffen, über die sämtliche Funktionen eines Möbels abgedeckt werden können. Des interfaces (12) qui sont conçues et adaptées pour la liaison avec d'autres composants de système se trouvent au niveau d'au moins deux arêtes (10a, 10b). Au moins un élément de réglage (14) peut être fixé par complémentarité de formes et/ou par force aux interfaces (12) disposées au niveau des arêtes (10a, 10b) de ladite structure porteuse (10).
